Red Maple Grove Housing
From Vacant to Vibrant
Farr Associates was selected to redevelop this vacant public housing site into a mixed-use, planned unit development.
Detailed drawings of the proposed 217-unit development were provided in support of the zoning application approved in June 2003, as well as site and architectural drawings for an Indiana tax credit application for Phase I of the project. Phase II consisted of the design and construction of the residential units.
Centrally located amenities include a community center, swimming pool, a two-acre park, and retail/commercial center.
Financing of this project included Low Income Housing Tax Credits, HOME grant funds, a grant from the Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership, the Federal Home Loan Bank’s Affordable Housing program, and a private loan.
