Architectural Designer
Moid is a designer with a Bachelor of Architecture, Cum Laude, and a minor in Structural Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. His experience spans architectural design, adaptive reuse, landscape, and sustainability-focused projects, with roles at Mayer Jeffers Gillespie Architects, WRNS Studio through the NOMA Fellowship, and Jayson DeGeeter LLC.
Moid brings strong skills in architectural drawing and visualization, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite. His work emphasizes clear communication, technical accuracy, and creative problem-solving and play across a range of project types.
Beyond professional practice, Moid has been actively involved in leadership and community initiatives, volunteering with Urban Rivers and serving on the community council, leading biking rides with the Chicago Muslim Cycling Club, and recently helping teach classes with the Azadi Folk School. In his free time, find Moid exploring a new coffee shop, playing pickleball, making art solo and with friends, and developing and writing recipes.
