Chicago Women’s Fieldhouse

Farr Associates transformed the historic Vietnam Veteran’s Art Museum in Chicago’s South Loop into a new fieldhouse for the Chicago Park District. The 29,600 sf historic art deco building now includes new club rooms, fitness studios, a fitness room, and an indoor playroom.

In response to community requests, the indoor playroom provides neighborhood children an escape from the harsh Chicago winters while being supervised by their parents. The mixed-use building keeps a cafe on site to serve the South Loop neighborhood.
