Bristol Place Residences
A Neighborhood Transformed
Bristol Place is an affordable, mixed-use neighborhood located adjacent to Champaign’s Bristol Park. As part of the City of Champaign’s Bristol Park Neighborhood Revitalization Plan, the city reclaimed the old Bristol Place Neighborhood through an $8M investment into the relocation of residents and the demolition of 82 functionally obsolete homes.
Phase 1 includes 90 LIHTC-funded 2-, 3-, and 4-bedroom units made up of single-family homes and townhouses, as well as a neighborhood club house with amenities for residents.
Phase 2 includes 60 units designed for senior living with elevator access, open floor plans, and fully accessible features.
The Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA), the Housing Authority of Champaign County (HACC), the City of Champaign, and the local community were highly involved in the planning and realization of the project.
