A product of the Chicago suburbs, Aaron Travers joins the Farrside with over a decade of design and construction experience. As a designer and code compliance expert, he has provided services to projects of all scales and levels of sophistication, from $5k porch repairs to a $12B airport program.

In his former life as construction plans examiner, Aaron achieved the International Code Council's highest designation of Master Code Professional. During this time he enjoyed working as a guide and resource to property owners and design professionals across hundreds of projects spanning from stormwater management systems to new high-rises. He has consistently emphasized that regardless of scale, every project deserves the same level of service and attention as the next.

From his experience working with small non-profits to some of the largest corporations in the world, Aaron developed a deep appreciation for resilient and impactful architecture that serves its occupants, inhabitants, and communities.  He looks forward to applying these principles for the collective benefit of occupants and their environments in his practice with Farr Associates.
