A COZY, SUSTAINABLE RETREAT

Farr Associates developed a new lakeside, solar-optimized residence seeking to achieve Passive House Certification and Net-Zero Energy targets. The three-story structure allows for views of the lake while dealing with the terrain and views from surrounding residences. The ground floor features more private and quite spaces, like bedrooms, with the second floor activity as the main space for hosting living activities. The attic includes office work space and storage. Solar panel arrays on the roof provide the necessary power to the building.
